1. It shows the story of a farm near Willingdon, owned by Mr Jones. Sick of being used for labour and fed less and less, the animals hold a conference. The oldest and smartest pig is the head of the movement, and all he wants is equality for every animal. Sadly he passes away, and the following two pigs Snowball and Napoleon assume command

2. With courage, they organize a "revolution" and kick Mr Jones out of the farm. There's a huge fight between the humans and the animals, so the animals win. They took Mr Jones' books and start learning to write, read and even compose. Then they adopt "The seven commands" Wich state how every animal is equal and no animal should ever be greedy like humans are

3. The farms runs smoothly, they are free, unlike the way it was in human times. They have way more food, since humans don't exploit it anymore. Everything seems perfect, until Snowball wants to build a windmill. Napoleon turns off his idea and makes Snowball look bad for everything he does.

4. He later claims the windmill idea as his own, and starts using the other animals to build it. He changes food ratio for the others, and pigs end up using their food, just like Mr Jones did. Pigs don't have to work, neither dogs, claiming they are "superior". He wants to be called comrade Napoleon, in names of his power. The commandments, which were written on a wall, were changed one night. For example "All animals are equal" changes to "Some animals are equal"
