Our environment is on the brink of collapsing not because of the deadly virus but because of us.We all know that plastic is destroying our environment directly as well as indirectly. It is one of the major causes of the planet destruction. Plastic is non-biodegradable and if we don't reuse or recycle it, then it is burnt, which results in production of harmful gases and fuels. Plastic is harmful for human as well as animals. It can be choke hazard for small animals. I think plastic should be banned. This is a serious cause which can be really dangerous for upcoming generation. Almost everyone is using plastic in their day to day life. It harms our sources for eg. Food resources which is a great deal of matter, that is, plants by making the soil in fertile. An alternative product for plastic could be jute bags. Jute bags are biodegradable as well as eco friendly. Another good method could be to recycle it. Research suggests that if we work towards recycling plastic we can recycle more plastic than production of it till after 2060.Plastic is also causing ozone destruction leading to skin cancer and various other diseases. Also we should always remember the 3RS -Recycle, Reuse and Reduce and even the 3GS-Grow, Globe and Greener. Let's make this planet a better place to live in. We need to realise that showing concern will not matter until and unless we act upon them.
