Since its a good way to pull in another target audience from cosplaying.
When researching the age group that gets cyber bullied the most, the Cyberbullying Research Centre did a survey that revealed 'cyberbullying tends to peak at around 14 and 15 years of age' (Hinduja, 2021). There has also been a 40% increase in cyber bullying since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Doki Doki Literature Club is an 18+ game but cosplay is for all ages, so even if they don't particularly know the character I know it will attract their attention.

This thesis gives an overview of what cyber bulling is, it's history, how it effects teenagers minds and how to prevent it. It's a very useful source for my promotional video because it covers all the over arching questions I had about cyber bulling. From this text I was able to grasp a deeper understand of cyber bulling.

Nikolaou, D 2021, 'Bullying, cyberbullying, and youth health behaviours', Kyklos, 23rd of August 2021, pg 76-84, viewed on the 15th of March 2022.

This article explains more in depth about the certain types of effects cyberbullying can have on mental health in the youth. For example what unhealthy habits teenagers could pick up just to cope with the harassment online and even why these health deteriorating behaviours are used to cope in the first place. It is a useful piece of text that will allow me to talk more about the consciences and effects that cyberbullying has on people.

This article gives an insightful view into cyberbullying and its connection to suicidal thoughts and suicide, especially in adolescence. This text is useful because it gave me more knowledge of serious facts about cyberbullying to put into my promotional video. Since I want my video to go from upbeat to serious I believe covering topics like this will be perfect for my video to hit the audience with the shock of reality.

I want my target audience to feel afraid of the consequences but know that they can prevent it from happening. I want to convey a scary and eerie tone while also being serious when presenting the facts. I believe the bright green colours for the start of the video best represents the up beat feel but by the end, the video will only be full of blacks and whites to represent the tonal shift within the video. I found the explanation of tone of voice, drawing attention by reducing distractions and high contrast within fonts made me more knowledgeable about font use and it will assist me in finding the right font suited for the tone and emotion I want in my promotional video.
