Violating the privacy zone: Every German has a half meter imagined "bubble" around them, where it is usually considered impolite to enter. You don't move up closer than that in queues, you don't pass in front of them this closely etc., unless you're in a really full room and there's no choice. Avoid “how do you do” when you greet!: In Germany, "Wie geht's?" is an actual question that requires an answer. People who want to cut it short usually answer "Fine", but usually it is considered to be a conversation starter, not just a greeting.
