3) The most important thing I learnt is that we need to have resilience to be safe during the bad weather and that we need to be flexible when Hong Kong’s destructive weather struck and we couldn’t have our virtual exchange.

I think the current situation(the typhoon) is too dangerous for the Virtual Exchange Programme to take place in the school. People  in Hong Kong cannot go out of their house. Students have to stay at home and do self learning. The rain is so heavy and the typhoon is too strong.It could even risk a person's live.It is hard to cope with loses of family, friends and relatives so the goverment had told the people in Hong Kong to stay at home.

I am grateful that Singapore does not have typhoon, earthquake, flood and tsunami.Singapore is a safe country and it does not have bad weathers situation excluding rain.

I learnt that when a situation really happens we have to take actions and not risk our life. Also, to show resilience and have a growth mindset. We also could not decide what could and could not happen.

I know that in Hong Kong there where sudden heavy downpours, and there were red typhoon warnings. All students are not allowed to go to school and have to stay at home to do home base learning as the typhoon is so strong that will blow people away

People in Hong Kong cannot go out as the winds are too strong and can carry them away. Even if staff and students are allowed to go to school, the might be stuck in the thunderstorm or can be carried away by the strong wind, causing lives to be lost.

2) I am grateful and happy that Singapore is safe and does not have natural disasters such as typhoons, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes and floods. There is no bad weather that can cost the loss of life. Besides the rain in Singapore, Singapore has no other bad weather.

3) I learnt that we should not be disappointed and angry that we cannot have the Virtual Exchange Programme. We should take action and not risk our life during a situation like that. We must also show resilience and have a growth mindset. As the teachers could not predict the future weather this bad situation would occur, we should still remain positive and not sulk.
