safehouse habitat

Introducing the Einstein Control System-equipped Cairn Cocoon Pressurised Habitat

Discover the cutting-edge Cairn Cocoon Pressurised Habitat, a pressurised habitat technological advance that features the ground-breaking Einstein Control System. This unique technology is in accordance with several international standards for pressurised habitats and is the first ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 habitat approved for hydrogen use. Our ground-breaking habitat technology sets the way for risk-free and long-lasting hot work activities as the world moves towards a net-zero future and hydrogen infrastructure proliferates.

A modular, adaptable enclosure called the Cairn Cocoon creates an over-pressurized environment and a physical barrier between heated work activities and possible hydrocarbons. Through containment, pressurisation, modular design, effective air extraction, and immediate shutdown of hot work instruments upon hydrocarbon detection, our system excels at guaranteeing a safer working environment.

The materials used in the construction of the Cairn Cocoon were specially created for our use. These flame-resistant panels include a base material that can survive 550°C and can tolerate temperatures of up to 250°C. Additionally, they are tear-resistant, antistatic, and anti-slip, providing safety on all surfaces and streamlining design and construction.

The number of panel types needed can be reduced while still providing maximum flexibility in habitat design. This method enables thorough habitat construction, adapting obstacles while requiring fewer pieces, resulting in more effective transportation and assembly.

The airlock system is made with convenience and safety in mind. Airlock doors that are lightweight, antistatic, and flame-resistant make entry and exit simple without restricting movement. Large touch bars and a bright yellow colour improve visibility while allowing for speedy escapes in case of emergency. A large window with an integrated welding screen enables for constant monitoring of work processes and any potential hydrocarbons in the hazardous area, and integrated signage displays crucial technical and safety information. A safer and better working environment is created by Cairn Cocoon pressurised habitat systems by containment, pressurisation, modular construction, air extraction, and the capability to immediately turn off hot work tools upon the detection of hydrocarbons.
