Or I would plant different kinds of plants near beehives. This would work because the article states that when honeybees need to fly far away to find food then, the flight  would wear out there wings  and shorten their life span. So if the plants are closer they won't have to  fly as far.
  The next thing I would do is either change the spray that is fighting away mites for one that has no chemicals that hurt bees. This would be a good idea because according to the article, the spray could be at least part of the problem.
