Although I enjoyed reading and analyzing the elements he went over in his book, there were but a few I didn't necessarily agree with such as his concept of the 'single note' where he briefly explains and then goes into detail about how a single note can be so powerful or how an artist can repetitively play a single not for an entire song. This may be true in some cases, but I believe most artists stray away from being repetitive and tend to be more creative in order to be unique. Overall I found the book to be a good read even for someone with little to no musical experience. If you love music you will enjoy the book even if you are unfamiliar with some of the concepts described within.
