I find that my students are afraid of speaking up in class, saying the "wrong" thing and getting jeered by their peers. With the hand signals and the ground rule that mistakes help us to learn, I hope that students will participate more actively in lessons and be more willing to share their opinions. Likewise, I hope that they will receive the feedback given about their answers positively and see it as a way for them to improve.</div>]]></description>
