On 15th June 2021, the Animal lovers' club of Amity International School had got an opportunity to visit the Mahatma Gandhi Animal Care home to observe and learn from the volunteers working there to heal and come together to care for our furry counterparts.

The club members had been documenting the whole experience in the form of a video diary for spreading awareness. MS. Cherry Healey who is a popular poet was invited as the judge in the competition. The chief guest on the event was our honorable principal ma'am Ms.Sunila Athley. After all the performances were over ms.Cherry and our principal ma'am gave a big round of applause to all the participants.

Thursday, 24 June, 2021, An enlightening and interesting inter-class story enactment competition was held on the virtual platform, by the teachers and I.T. team of Amity International School, Vasundhara. The participants presented interested and some quirky presentations.

Participants from standard 8 participated wholeheartedly in the competition. Some performed their stories in a quirky manners, whereas other were devoted strictly to a formal presentation.

A student of class 8 B, Avantika Singh said, "The event was fun and informative as well. Everyone performed really well and I hope the best act wins." Overall, the competition was a huge success, with amazing feedbacks from attendees as well as the judges. The result will be announced on 27 June, with the winners intimated individually.

Friday,25 June 2021: A magnificent and amazing inter-class story enactment competition by Amity International School was held virtually on Microsoft Teams on 23 June 2021.

Participants presented wonderful presentations and enacted with different ways and costumes. Students of class 8th and 7th participated whole-heartedly and everyone enjoyed the event. Some participants presented Powerpoint presentations, while some wore costumes, and some even made small videos.

The first-runner up of the competition, Prakshi Jain said, "The event was fun and everyone was able to learn more. The event provided an insight into different worlds of stories and other famous authors who have written great books for kids like us. I really hope that more fun activities and competitions like this one will come up in the future as well." Yesterday at 11:30am students from class seventh and eight got together to spread awareness about the power of reading through a competition. It was an intersection competition held at the school auditorium. Hosted by our teacher Ms Swati Pandey.
        In the competition the students had to tell the power of reading through a skit in groups of 5-6. The students showed their creative colours by adding beautiful poems in the middle of the skit. They would often ask questions about authors and riddles from the crowd to make it more interesting and interactive. 
         To our suprise the teacher said that we had to vote for the best group as the competition was mainly for us. Ahana Anand said that" the competition was very informative and showed us how we had been ignoring one of the best things in life a book." Overall the competiton was a huge success as it helped us to see how we were as blind as a bat to ignore books. After the competition many children said that they would go straight to the library to fill their minds with knowledge and imagination. Our principle Ms. Sunila Athley also congratulated the children who had participated in the competiton and thanked Ms. Swati Pandey ma'am for conducting this competiton. Last Monday , Amity International School held a story enactment competition for students of class VIII. Using modern technology to help the ways of story telling reach new heights. The competition was an introduction to a spectrum of fresh and talented souls. 

The event was a blast with colourful presentations and costumes. Each story and enactment was different yet had a special meaning to it , teaching many morals with positivity and enthusiasm.

“It was a wonderful and pleasing way of connecting everyone during such difficult times.” said the honourable chief guest. The winners were awarded with encouraging words virtual prizes from their respected principal , Mrs.Sunila Athley.

A wonderful competition of story enactment was organized by class 8 on 25th June, 21.

All the participants looked cheerful and bright with their props, costumes, handmade masks & their beautiful faces. Through the whole competition one thing was unnoticeable, there smiles of course! It was surprising to see that though the event was virtually organized they enjoyed to the fullest and did not leave any scope of improvement.

This event was organized so that the participants enjoy to the fullest, indulge in activities and utilize their time rather than moving around aimlessly. The participants wore attractive costumes, made handmade masks and props, they were also wearing there natural smiles which made it really hard for the judges to decide the winner of the competition. Our respective Principal Mam said "The student's performance was wonderful, the starting lines by the teacher and the inspiring PPT's were also one of the best parts." Overall the competition was wonderful and was enjoyed by all.
