         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Bubonic Plague or Black Death was a terrible disease that killed almost a third of the entire population of Europe. If you got it you would die within a few days. Black Death was a term that referred to the giant black puss filled bumps that those infected would get on their arms.</div>]]></description>

They decided that things must change and fought against the Church. The first thing that needed to change was the selling of indulgences which was a key example of corruption within the church.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Printing Press</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The printing press made it so that ideas spread more quickly and efficiently. It made the Renaissance and Reformation ideas spread. The Church no longer had as much control. Books began to be mass produced and it helped to move ideas around. </div>]]></description>
