This is Carmen Montoya's baptism on the 20th April She is basically a golden soul, she told a friend that she wanted to join the Church and this member gave us her number. We met with her 23 March 2013, extended a baptismal invitation and accepted it!

This is Alejandro Lainez. We found him on 28 January 2012 by teaching several of his family and has progressed a lot in the 5 weeks we have taught him. I unfortunately got transferred when he got baptised on 16 March 2013.

Christian Collado, my first baptism ever. He never opens the door to anyone else until the missionaries knock on their door and has seen the blessings when he started learning the Gospel. He got baptised 28 October 2012.

MTC Entry Day

July 25, 2012 it was a crazy day. Finally got my missionary tag!! They took me to my beginner's class and spoke to me in Spanish and told me the next day to testify in Spanish and the first Friday to teach an investigator in Spanish. I was like, "whaaaat???""

First District in the MTC

District Transfer

I got transferred to the intermediate Spanish classes because they said I already knew French. But I really struggled my first 3 weeks with them because I did not know any Spanish grammar at all and everyone else did. But I made it through. I basically love them all too.

Meeting the Francophones

Probably the highlight of MTC experience is meeting some French-speaking people from Tahiti, France, and Belgium and talk with them. Sister Paepaetaata is just the best person, she gave me French scriptures and Preach My Gospel in French as well, of which helped me in my mission when I had to teach the gospel in French.

5th week in the MTC

Snow Stormed

Teaching Sunday School to the Youth

This was probably the best way of ending the mission, is to have the privilege to teach these young people about the Restoration and to challenge them to serve missions as well.

Aichatou Tounkara from West Africa is the nicest person ever. I taught her English and basically my French escalated like 100 miles per hour, as I was teaching her!!
