Dear Dato Noor Rezan,

Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us. From transforming schools to impacting national education at the highest level, you have shown us what it means to dedicate one's life to one cause.

I will never forget the lesson we co-taught in SMK Teriang Hilir back in 2014. I remember vividly the way you sang Michael Jackson's Earth Song with my students and the charisma with which you handled the classroom. It's almost as though you have never left your job as an educator.

All the best Dato! I hope life gives us the opportunity to cross path again. <3

In 2003, I remember running behind your car with the rest of SBU to wave goodbye as you started your new role at the MoE. Years later, it was surreal to meet you at Mercu UEM. I remember that hug you gave me when I told you I was a former student and you immediately told everyone there the story of your sarong during the last speech at skylite! Your warmth and your humor are what I remember the most from my time at TFM.

When I think of strong, formidable women who have shown me what it means to be a leader - I think fondly of you and all the wonderful teachers I’ve had. Thank you for your dedication to TFM, for constantly inspiring us and pushing us to do better.

Please enjoy your retirement and thank you so very much, for everything.

I always been wondering as a woman how you can handle a lot of responsibilities by yourself. You are such a amazing and very strong lady. I wish that I could be partial of you. I always admire the way to support and encourage people. You have been very supportive whatever I do. I already been missing you so much.

We have shared a lot of personal things / problems and you always give advise "Selvi please let me know if you need any help, I will assist" which really makes me comfortable and I always think I have someone to talk or share to.

I think this is right time you have taken the break.. Enjoy your life and spend time with your family. Take care of your health Dato'. Thank you so much for all your support given to me.

Dear Dato' Noor Rezan,

From the early days at IAB back in 2011, when you would speak to us while we were training, to all the events and car rides I've shared with you- I am grateful for all the times that I've spent with you. Every encounter with you left me feeling inspired, motivated and cared for. You are someone I admire, and I aspire to be a leader like you in so many ways.

You are someone who the movement has relied on for inspiration in good and in tough times. You have always made an effort to be on the ground at all aspects of our work- at recruitment events, Pre-Service Programme, TFM Week, conferences, school visits, Ministry meetings, Alumni induction, and the list goes on. Nothing is too big or small for you, and you always make yourself available. Most importantly- you have always kept us grounded on why we are here- the students.

Teach For Malaysia would not be where it is today (or even in existence!) without you. You are leaving behind a powerful and enduring legacy, and we will always be grateful to you for all that you've contributed.
