When the bad seed is trying to be nicer, he still does things some of the other seeds don't like, but he is trying to change and become a good seed.
What evidence from the book can you provide to prove it?
He said he did not want to be a bad seed. The seed was trying to be good. He still forgot some ways to be polite, but also used nice manners and help people out sometimes. The bad seed decided that he was tired of being bad and wanted to be good. He wanted to change the way he lived. 
What evidence can you provide from the book to prove it?
The seed said he did not want to be bad anymore. The seed still forgot to listen to other seeds or wait his turn, but he was also polite and started to do small things to help out other seeds, like opening doors.

The bad seed did not like that he was so mean and selfish, so he wanted to change his behavior and tried to do that.
What evidence can you provide from the book to prove it?
He said, " I made a big decision and decided I don't want to be a bad seed anymore." That is why he tried to change the way he lived from being as bad as he could to everybody to trying to help other seeds.
