         <description><![CDATA[<div>The ruling in Marbury v. Madison expanded the power if the Supreme Court by giving it the duty to decide the constitutionality of the law and if it can be passed or if its constitutional. If there is a law that goes against the constitution the court has to agree whether it is constitutional. Document 5 said, "the court must decide that the case in agreement... the court must determine which of these conflicting rules governs the case."
