         <description><![CDATA[<div>Plickers is a low-tech classroom polling tool that allows teachers to collect real-time feedback from their students. It uses paper cards with unique QR codes that students hold up to their devices for the teacher to scan. Plickers is easy to use and can be used with a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.<br><br>Here are two sentences on how to use Plickers in teacher education programs:</div><ul><li><strong>Teacher educators can use Plickers to gauge their students' understanding of a topic or to assess their progress on a particular skill.</strong> For example, they could use Plickers to ask students questions about a lecture they just gave or to assess their ability to solve a particular type of problem.</li><li><strong>Teacher educators can also use Plickers to teach their students how to use formative assessment in their own classrooms.</strong> For example, they could show their students how to create Plicker questions and how to use the data to inform their teaching.</li></ul>]]></description>
