The reviewer states that although it was a good book, it was overhyped from her perspective. 
I'd have to agree with the reviewer, it was an alright book, it definetly wasn't my favorite book ever, or even my favorite book by Cassandra Clare. But, it was merely alright. The plot was pretty good, but predictable. The characters had some nice character development, and fit together just like a family.
