Today was an important day. It was my observation with both my lecturer and mentor. I had planned a fun and interactive activity for my pupils, and I was really happy to see how much they enjoyed it. Both my mentor and lecturer gave positive feedback, saying the activity was engaging and helped spark the pupils’ interest in learning.

I’ll admit, I felt quite nervous at the beginning. Having both of them observing me at once added a bit of pressure. But as the lesson went on and I saw the pupils getting excited and involved, I started to feel more at ease. By the end, I felt proud of what I had prepared and relieved that it went smoothly.

Looking back, I think the lesson went really well. The pupils were enthusiastic, and the feedback I received was encouraging. What stood out to me was a comment from my mentor who reminded me to make sure every pupil is actively participating. That made me reflect a bit more. While the activity was engaging, I might have missed a few pupils who weren’t as involved or lost focus halfway through.

Moving forward, I want to make sure I design activities that give every pupil a chance to take part. Maybe assigning clear roles or using simple tools like name sticks to randomly choose participants could help. I’ll also pay more attention to signs of distraction and find ways to bring pupils back into focus, maybe with quick transitions or short, energizing tasks between activities. It’s something I’ll definitely keep in mind for my next lesson.
