The mode I will be explaining to you today is Multiplayer cod bo4's online mode and how it works

Weapons
There are 32 different weapons in multiplayer all at different levels of strength based on these charts
charts.

Damage (how much the bullet hits for).
Range (how far the bullet travels).
Fire rate (how fast the bullets are fired).
Accuracy (how many bullets will hit).
Ammunition (how many bullets are fired before you have to reload.

All  weapons have different strengths to each other but some have simalareties to others so they are sorted into classes here they are.
Assault rifles: good for all ranges but triumph at medium.

Submachine guns: superior at short range but the damage decreases the further the enemy gets away.

Tactical rifles: all good at medium-long range with reliable accuracy and damage.

Lightmachine guns: reliable at damage and range but slow mobility.


Sniper rifles: superior at long range with high damage and bullet travel (how fast a bullet moves).

Pistols: they are generally close range and good for pulling out as a secondary if your primary is out of ammunition

Shotguns: triumph at close range, high damaging based on bullet spread (how many bullets hit)
Level
Your level determines how much you have played the game and how many guns you have. Once you reach level 55 you have an option to stay that level or prestige, prestiging takes you back to level one but now you have an icon showing prestige 1. Another perk gained by prestiging is a prestige token this lets you scroll through the levels and pick something you want to have leveling up through the 10 prestiges.
When you eventually get to prestige 10 and hit level 55 you will keep leveling up until you reach prestige master level 1000

Game modes
There are 15 total gf game modes in multiplayer all consisting of 6 Vs 6 5 Vs 5 or free for all 8 player. Depending on the game mode  you will level up more e.g. search and destroy one of the game modes you will get the least amount of kills in you get the most levels.
Core and hard core
In the core game modes you have 150-200 hp (health points) and can see your minimap your hp and who your playing as, but in hard core you can not see your hp , minimap, recticle or character and have 50 hp making it a lot harder to survive.

Core game modes
 Team death match: brawl to win to 100 eliminations

Hardpoint: team game one objective capture for points first to 250 wins

Domination: 3-4 objectives per game the more you capture the more points you get team game

Safe gaurd: teansport a robot across the map with out the enemy destroying it team game

Search and destroy: get the bomb plant the bomb or eliminate the enemy team to win team 

Heist: locate the money bring it to the extraction site and eliminate the enemy team (team game)

Control:  take the 4 objectives and use your team's lives wisely
