Based on the clip of Saved by the bell, we see how discouraging, and nerving it is for a student to constantly be corrected when using there own variation of there home language. The constant correction is not only saddening and stressful for a student but it feels as though they are not being heard, as it takes a jab at there identity (the language they grew up with at home, interlinks with there background ). Therefore correcting there language is pointing out or trying to correct a part of there identity.
