I feel as though I was very enthusiastic throughout the whole preparation experience and that i helped to get others enthusiastic. For example; I turned up to every group discussion and rehearsal on time.

Motivation

To keep myself motivated I made sure I did everything I could to keep improving, for example if we had no vocalist for a rehearsal we would rehearse without them instead of cancelling the whole session. To stay motivated I also had to constantly think about the gig to make sure we got the best response possible from the audience.

We didn't completely have the same music taste so our group picked a song in the middle. We have members of the group who are into heavy rock and members who are into soft rock, so we found a middle ground in which everybody could happily agree upon.

I made sure I stayed possitive by always practicing my own parts and roles.

I was a rodie, which means I basically helped with the setup of the equiptment in preparation for the gig. I also helped Dan create the Facebook page and managed to gather a few extra people to come down to watch our gig.

I attended every rehearsal session on time and I arrived at the gig in plenty of time to help with the setup.

I made sure everyone was happy with the choices of songs before we finalised the setlist and we all helped to encourage each other by praising where necessary.

We, as a band, got some great feedback from family, friends and even the locals and bar staff after the gig. We can work with that feedback to make our next gig even better for the audience.

I took advice from the other students to practice more, when we lost members of the group as some students dropped out, we all had to take extra responsibility to make the gig work.
