Intelligence is the ability to learn and grow in any way. I think intelligence is different for everyone and people can be intelligent in a lot of different ways. IQ is not a way of gauging intelligence, in fact I don't think there is a way to see "how smart" someone is because everyone is unique. IQ also doesn't make you happy because being "smart" has nothing to do with how happy you are. Happiness comes from the people around you and how you are treated and the experiences you have.

Many people who have high IQ may feel lonely since others may not think the way they do. They may feel like an outsider or get frustrated easily when others don’t understand. But on the other hand someone with high IQ may be happy because they may have accomplished a lot of things. I don’t think IQ can measure happiness because there are more underlying factors.

To me, intelligence is the level of knowledge an individual possess in relation to the rest of the population. Although levels of intelligence differ among every person, it does not define someone's worth or make someone better than another. Intelligence does not define happiness, as happiness can be found in a multitude of different ways. To me, happiness is strengthened through relationships, being happy with one's self, and doing the things that make you content in life. If anything, having higher intelligence can possibly have negative effects (I.e. being overly aware of negative things going on in the world, reading into/analyzing things to much, etc).
