I love it when I can get 10 or however many students that all need help on the same thing (a certain skill or a certain assignment) and we can focus on just that thing in WINN. I love how it makes catching up on hands-on projects possible (for absent students or those that just need more time), in a way that staying after school and study halls never work for my classes. I love when I can catch students that I know are struggling with something BEFORE they take a test.

For example, if we have a multi-day project going on in class, I can expect that some of them will want or need more time to work on it. I also look at factors such as missing assignments, D/F students in my gradebook and try to plan something that would help a majority of those students. Sometimes I just "draft" them into my WINN whether they like it or not and then tell them that I signed them up. The WINNvitation and the drafting options work well for me.
