Before assuming this position in 2014, he served as principal of San Diego Unified’s Hoover High School. Chuck Podhorsky began his career in education as a math and physics teacher before entering administration as a vice principal. He holds active membership in multiple professional organizations, including the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the American Educational Research Association, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. In his free time, Mr. Podhorsky enjoys getting outdoors with his family to engage in activities that range from hiking and camping to skiing and snorkeling.
