Last week my group was told to make an advert on a product of our choice, my group chose to make an energy drink called "Intravenous" we decided on the Logo, (Caduceus) name and even the start of the advert. We collaborated well and came up with some great ideas. Here is a rough sketch of our product. Along side the original version of our logo that we interpreted.

Last week i also dissected a few adverts. some of them included an Everlast advertisement that demonstrated how boxing makes you a bigger person and not just a stronger person.

Today we did more templates and things for our final advert, we made scripts of dialouge and stage directions. Tomorrow i think we will be able to start filming some rough ideas to see how things work together and to see if we need to change things.

Today we will be getting into groups and making a rough film then a little bit of editing. We have decided on the location and now we need to film.

We have just got back from filming the advert and we are starting the editing progress. We may need to re-film certain shots then edit the rest.

Today we finished filming and done the rest of the editing. The advert is done now all we need to do is get the questionnaires done and that will be it.

Today i made some finishing touches to the editing and then past around the questionnaire. The advert is now rendering and we are about to re render the advert.

Self evaluation. I think i did well with the editing. And i made the whole editing process overall more streamlined. It went much smoother then i think it would have gone without me and i hope i made a helpful addition to my group.

Group evaluation I believe i did well with the editing, Michael was good at the acting and showed well that he was the character. And Julia was a very assertive camera woman.

William Horner created the Zoetrope which is a device that simulates the movement of images. It is used in many different forms of animation and is an earlier version of the Praxinoscope.

Edward Muybridge was a famous photographer who was hired by a horse racer to see if all of the legs of a horse were of the ground at a time. So he set up a series of cameras that took simultaneous photographs that proved that at some point in a horses gallop all the legs were off the ground at one time.

Today i researched a few of the first animators in the world. Form Edward Muybridge to William Horner. We also looked at the Zoetope and other forms of early animation.

Today i started to make my own animation with pieces of paper and a stop motion camera. I made an archer draw the bow then shoot it. The arrow then came back and hit the archer.

Today we started to learn about idents. An ident is something that plans before the intro of the programme. E4 has been known for creative idents such as the E4 man.

Last week we agreed on a ident for "Dave" and made an ident called "Emotional Baggage" where we have a few suitcases and bags crying, screaming and laughing.

The sound and audio used were great, the zombie moans worked really well and they sounded really good when used in different volumes for different scenes, although there was not much verity.

The limitations of only using one camera would be their was only one angle and only one POV.

Multi Camera are things like documentaries and reality TV whereas single is mainly vlogs and other small films without studio help.

I learnt that being organised helps a lot when you're trying to start things, i would recommend not starting to film until you have a good idea of what you want to do.

We communicated overall really well when it came to the editing, if we had any questions we would just ask each other and help each other with any hurdles we faced.

The methods we used to film were great, we made everything work really well and it all looked really professional, we even made an outro on photoshop and had some complicated audio put in place.
