-Setting: Classroom and the soup kitchen
Rising action-Ian is a simple kid that never did his hours during the summer so his teacher sent him to work at a soup kitchen where he will learn a lesson.
Climax-Ian is walking to his first day on the job and gets cornered by three guys in the park at night but someone saves him and tells him to run off to his work and to never travel at night.
Falling action-Ian works at the soup kitchen for a bit till he finds the guy that saved him was in Rwanda his name is Sarge. Rwanda was like a war but it was a massacre of millions so Ian's teacher tells him he has to interview Sarge about Rwanda.
Conclusion-Ian convinces sarge to go to a rehab that mac had suggested to fight against his urges to drink and Ian finishes his community hours.
