He was a very emphatic speaker with simple ideas for complicated problems. The people rallied behind Hitler, which is how he was able to get a decent amount of votes in a democratic election for head of parliament. He didn't win, but he was put in the position of chancellor, which is equivalent to vice president. All of the things that were previously producing income were taken away and this caused hyperinflation. Suddenly, the middle class were the people suffering from this. This was when Hitler saw the opportunity to seize power in Germany. He attempted to take over the government using force, but his plan did not work and he tried another method, politics. For this, Hitler needed support. In his speeches, he spoke about his solutions to the problem Germany was facing. He spoke about giving people jobs and houses. He also blamed all of Germany’s problems on Jewish people, who had already been discriminated against prior to the war. The ideology behind fascism is Liberal Democracy, something that had also been very apparent in the world to an extent, was obsolete. (Fascism is also on the far right scale in the political scale) It believed that there would be one all-powerful leader, such as a dictator, and one other government behind the leader, to assist the one dictator on their plans as well as their beliefs. The government parties would usually consist of members of the fascist party. One thing that makes it different is that they would use brute force to succeed in their ideals. The reason (arguably the most important in the concept of Fascism) that Fascism appeals to so many people is that to solve the country's problems, there would have to be one master race or a "purity of other races". This most likely led to bigotry or racist/misogynistic views by this government.
