Ancient India is usually called the Harappan civilization because this was one of the thousands of villages in ancient India. Historians believe India to be the largest of the four ancient civilizations (China, Egypt, and Tigris and Euphrates civilizations). The reason these Indian cities became so big was because around 50 to 60 million years ago the Himalayan and Hindu Kush mountains. These mountains were used like a natural wall and kept most invaders out leaving the cities to just grow and be safe. Also the indus river allowed for fertile soil and for the people to farm and keep the population full.

It is a corpus of symbols produced by the Indus Valley Civilization during the Kot Dijiand Mature Harappan periods between 3500 and 1900 BCE.
