The first thing you need to do is to sign up for a free account with Padlet here: https://padlet.com (basic Padlet is free - you are NOT required to purchase anything!) 

Next, make a Padlet. Choose 'Canvas' as the Padlet type as this is the easiest way to organise the notes you will generate (the same template as this beautiful page!).
 
Give your Padlet a title and brief description and ensure you have enabled comments. You can also enable reactions if you wish. 
 
Click on 'share' and ensure that the privacy setting is 'secret' (Padlet normally defaults to this) and change visitor permissions to 'write'. 
 
Next, copy the link to your Padlet, go to the MS Student Portfolios Padlet and create a Note. 
 
Please include your name on the note and paste in the link to your own Padlet. 
 
Finally, reward yourself with a large slice of cake for a job well done. You are now ready to build your portfolio!
