The Inca was a large empire, so they were divided into 4 corners. They used labor instead of money; they built a lot of infrastructure. Some cultural advancements were the Quipu, the knotted string record system. They maintained power by many things, one of which was the road system they created that spread throughout hard-to-travel terrain.
