With factors such as a quarantine coming into effect, an appreciation for the internet as a means of communication and discovering literature can be more effectively brought out. Students must adapt and be literate in other forms of media "to survive" many people and students had to make the switch to online learning and working from home due to COVID. Without multimodal literacies class and work during the pandemic would not be as efficient
