Now that I am a member of the USA, I love America. I love the environment and really want to understand more about how to treat it and keep it pure and green. Up until now, English has been a challenge for me to keep up with the academic programs. I hope this class is the chance for me to get more experience in both English skills and environmental science aspects. I will keep working hard to finish all the required classes by the end of this Winter, hopefully I will be a technician in electric car in the future. I am eager to work with you in the weeks to come. Thanks

Hello! My name is Buu. I came to the USA with my wife and two daughters four years ago. My 48th birthday will be on June 5th. It seems that I am an old man to study. I finished my bachelor’s degree in Vietnam in 2000, but it cannot be used in America. I am living in Ann Arbor, MI, it is about 15 minutes from WCC.

At present, I am an automotive student at WCC, and this Winter is my last semester here. At first, I just intended to join this college for a certificate in ASV; however, some of my needed classes were not opened last summer, and that is the reason why I am taking ENV-105 DJ1 to upgrade for the associate degree.

I love our environment and love pets. I often feed the birds around the garden as spring comes. I love watching the birds sing as they gather to eat my food, and I intend to buy a 30-pound bag from Costco as my yearly habit to feed the birds in my back yard. In 2016, I traveled to this country with the first sight of love for not only the people but also the environment, which is not polluted as it is in Viet Nam, where I was born and grew up.
