2. I have been confirmed and one thing that I remember is that it was really special/meaningful  to me. I got to sing at the beginning of mass with my good friend and really enjoyed it and added to the meaningfulness of the day. When I was Confirmed, it was extremely special for me as my grandfather, who is a deacon, got to be one the alter during the Confirmation Mass. It was also really special as he was my sponsor and I have always looked to him for spiritual guidance before and I feel like my Confirmation strengthened that bond between us.

For my confirmation story, it was pretty normal other than the retreat part. We are required to go on a retreat before we get confirmed. The Thursday before the weekend we were supposed to go on the retreat, I got a really bad concussion. This was a big deal because it was my fourth concussion so I got my volleyball season cut off and was not allowed to play ever again. I was super upset about this and had to go to a random retreat where I did not know anybody and was super nervous.
