I created and developed the film program without any formal training. The classes I took have supported the knowledge I developed on my own. Meanwhile, I have a friend who is an educator in NY. She posts a lot of articles on FB that I read. In my film studies class, I am always reading online sites: IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Wikipedia, and a variety of other online articles specific to the focus of the films we view.I always create a web Inquiry for the students. I also listen to NPR daily to stay on top of world news. My news sources (apps) like CNN or Huffington Post have special sections for Educations and Technology that I check in every now and then. 

I also subscribe to a couple podcasts like Coffee Break Spanish and Talks with Teachers.... I also touch base with

I ask other teachers what they are teaching in class to support concepts, vocabulary etc. I've been reading as much as I can to learn more about Problem Based Learning (PBL). I use teachertube and youtube. I'm taking this class!
