Both of his parents have passed away. At the beginning of the store his grandmother falls down the stares an has to go to the hospital. He is so worried about her while at school he wants to stop going but she tells home to keep going because he needs his education . one day when he is visiting her a person from DSS come an wants to take him a way from his grandmother. He ends up getting to stay with his grandmother.
