This would take qualifying on advanced travel teams and attending as many tryouts as I can. I would also have to do really well in school. All A's would be just a small part in being able to even think about attending Notre Dame. I would also have to do really well on the SAT and put forth a lot of hard work and commitment. Some people to help me accomplish this goal would include my hockey coach and any former member of the Notre Dame hockey team. Suzanne Fitzpatrick played hockey for Notre Dame in 2015. I can email her or something understand what it takes to make the team and attend the school. I could also get extra help from teachers to bring my grades up if I needed them to be higher. I can also do research on what my requirements are to get in to this University. I've been to the campus a few times, and I really like it. Suzanne came out of high school with a 4.0 GPA. She was a part of many associations such as NHS. She attended the bachelor of businesses association as well. Fitzpatrick also played on an elite-level of hockey since she was 9 years old. She played right win g for Lauraton Hall's Crusaders for a few years as well. I learned that I need to get involved with as many beneficial associations as possible and study hard to achieve a good grade point average. I also learned that it's going to be really hard to balance my grades and hockey, but I know I could do it. As a high school student who plays on a U19 girls hockey team, i find it very difficult to keep up with schoolwork along with traveling for tournaments and games. I will have to work extra hard considering college is going contain much more arduous homework and tasks. Also, my hockey team only travels across Michigan, and sometimes Canada.The Notre Dame team would travel all across a large portion of the Unites States, and it will be very difficult for me to handle all my studies, so I should prepare more for what the future holds. I have found other goals or experiences I'd much rather accomplish than this one, but I'm going to stick with and see what I can do. I haven't been motivated to achieve this goal because I'm lacking heart and dedication for my topic. I just haven't been motivated to play hockey at Notre Dame anymore. I have made some progress in figuring out what it takes to accomplish my goal, but I lack persistence in doing it. This Ted Talk consists of Diana Nyad explaining her journey trying to swim from Cuba to Florida as a 60 year old. Last year, she had her chance to do it, but it got cut short when she got stung by poisonous jellyfish. Nyad describes how hard it was to keep swimming through the pain until her body failed. She still plans on completing the great swim, and is inspiring many to accomplish their goals no matter how hard it may be. This relates to my goal because it will be hard to do, but if I work hard enough and keep enduring I will do it.
