For Paul’s third journey, he wanted to travel to Ephesus, which was the main aim of his third journey and he revisited some of the cities of Galatia and then from there he worked in Ephesus for 2 and a half years. Planning to go to Macedonia, Paul stopped at Troas where he spent a few months of winter till he got the suitable weather for a safe journey to northern Greece. Paul continued his journey to Macedonia where they nearly spent 18 months. Paul travelled to various cities and after spending 3 days in Aegean Islands (such as Mitytline, Chios and Samos), he left for the Holy Lands.

The first letter of St Paul to the Corinthians follows his letter to the Romans in the New Testament of the Bible. Paul then wrote a second letter to the Corinthians, again in response to the issues that arose over time. Paul’s first letter provides us with excellent insight into the life of the early Christian Church in the middle of the first century. The main message in his preaching was to spread the message about Jesus and Christianity.

The main message found in the scripture, Philippians 2:1-5, is to treat others with respect. Respect to others can be used in everyday life by using manners, opening doors elderly people, listen in class and not to talk, etc. These are all ways to respect others and St Paul showed this value in his life. 2 If then there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, 2 make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. 5 Let the same mind be in you that was[a] in Christ Jesus.
