These lines resonated with me because it talks about the lessons we’ve learned as a country and it connects to current events such as protests and the pandemic. It also uses a slant rhyme with “beast” and “peace”.

It really contributes and reveals how the impact of our actions will follow us and will continue to the affect us towards the future. All our actions is what leads us to the present and all our actions have counter-influences.

This line stuck out to me, because it brings into perspective the history of America and how it has not always been right. It is saying that in order to move on and make our country grater we need to make what was one "might" to something great.
