Or maybe they just didn't want to study, and now they have to cheat so they have at least a chance at passing. Or they just didn't pay attention in class. They may think that they won't get caught for it, or that cheating is harmless. The affects of cheating are getting caught, which can get you in a LOT of trouble, not even passing, which is honestly just sad, and cheating off a person who's getting the wrong answers. Then you AND that other person won't get a good grade O>O In my opinion, sometimes studying can be annoying, but it's not the end of the world. You should at least try to study, so you might know most of the answers. Another reason is because when they don't study for the test with the time given to them they tend to just think that cheating will solve it. The effects of cheating is mostly a 99% chance of failing or having to take the test over again. You also might get expelled in some cases depending on the test.
