There are a lot of words on the page, and an excess amount of unnecessary information. Also, these do not meet the needs of all the new social studies standards adopted this year.  I think it is great for students to have a hands on resources, especially a newspaper, but we don't feel like this is a beneficial resources to use in the classroom at this time.
