Take a shorter shower or bath to save the water. Switch off or unplug unnecessary lights and unused electronic appliances. Try to recycle and repurpose the items in the home to make something and save money, such as repurposing the glass containers as flower vases, pen cases, makeup brush pots, etc.💚💚

I know it can't be avoided that we're plugged into a gadget all day, but a step that I've taken towards saving a bit of electricity and also getting some fresh air is by stationing myself in our lanai facing the garden. That way I can get use natural light, get fresh air, and also get some Vitamin D from the bright sun as well.

Moving from my room to the lanai has made me more aware of my surroundings and I feel a lot less burdened by my tasks because there's always something new to look at.

Come to think of it, we only have one home, and that is Earth. I would say to myself, I should treat Earth like a human. Why? Because if Humans can get sick, so does our Mother Earth due to pollution, infrastructure, and deforestation which means unhealthy home and fast extinction of the animals. Nature provides but we tend to abuse it, let us learn to treat earth like how we are conscious of our health always, join advocacy, and appreciate Mother Earth.

During the pandemic, the pollution has lessened and we can actually read in news and even see in some of our friends Instagram stories how clean our environment has become. In here, I have realized that we often forget to take care of our surroundings that it affected how we live and how we take care of everything and everyone around us, most especially ourselves. Recently, I have come to understand and see how important it is to take care of ourselves and nature, the earth plays a major role with it as it provides us our home and the serenity we can feel when we live in a clean, kind, and nurturing environment. We take care of our earth, means we also are taking care of ourselves.

We are very rich in terms of our clean natural resources and because it's always free and available to us that doesn't mean that we should destroy them. We must be thankful because it gives us longer year to appreciate its beauty and its kindness that it gave to us. I am very fond of flowers and trees. I actually buy myself flowers when I feel down. Despite not being skilled enough to grow my own greenery, I still deeply appreciate them.
