Nigeria is the most populous black nation on the planet. It's my home and the home to the second largest film industry on the globe while being a large hub for fashion and technology! The overall culture of Nigeria is very diverse and vibrant including language. I speak Igbo! The three main languages spoken in Nigeria include English, Igbo, and Yoruba. Nigeria also holds the position of the richest country in Africa, having a GDP of about $480 billion. There are many other aspects that contribute to the overall landscape of Nigeria!

I belong near the 20-24 year age percentile! There are a lot of young people here because Nigeria is on at a late stage two of the Demographic Transition Model. Whoa, that's a big word! The frequency of each age group is also largely affected by migration patterns. I myself migrated to Abuja 5 years ago and am loving it. What really pulled me to move to Nigeria were the amazing Labor markets! My whole family joined me except for my brother because he could not find a good job here. He also couldn't handle the Political Crisis going on!

It always gets crowded what I'm heading to work in the mornings!
Nigeria has been through a lot and I feel for the country. The history of the political crisis in Nigeria today stems from the need to control power at the center by the various region starting from the Kano riot of 1953 to this day.
Interesting Fact! Nigeria has a Federal republic government meaning the power of the central government is limited by law to create individual states/provinces with certain degrees of self-government.
An Anglo-French treaty of 14 June 1898 determined the boreders in Nigeria, and extended it northward up to the river Niger.
