1. In the passage from Walk Two Moons, the main character realizes that her mother's leaving had nothing to do with her. This might change things for the main character because she won't feel as much guilt and blame herself for her mother leaving.

2. In the passage from The Watsons Go To Birmingham, Kenny realizes that even though he wasn't the one being made of, it still IS NOT OKAY TO BULLY! He also realizes that Rufus was very hurt that Kenny laughed at him and it was wrong. This might change things for Kenny because he will definitely think twice before laughing at other people. Even though he's not the one being made fun of, it's still not right. He will probably decide to be an advocate (supporter) for people who are bullied/made fun of. This is definitely a life lesson.

1. In the first video the old lady realized that the cookies were not hers, and she probably felt bad because she had been rude to him. It might change the way she looks on people, so don't judge a book by its cover.
2. In the passage The Watsons Go to Birmingham, Kenny realized that he had done something to make everyone laugh about the rude comment Larry had made. This might change things because maybe Larry will stop making fun of Kenny and his brother.
