We accept all majors, no teaching degree needed. Whether or not you stay in education, this experience will shape wherever you go next.

Add your resume and complete the short answer questions.

4. Add a Reference
No letter needed, we’ll email them a quick form.

5. Submit & Watch Your Email
Look out for a message from the National Admissions Council.

*The application takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour and can be done in multiple sessions.

As a Student Success Coach, you’ll support students and help schools meet their needs.

Though focused on student support, City Year’s work is shaped by research, policy, and school design, so you are part of a bigger mission.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Must be a US citizen or Legal Permanent Resident

• Unfortunately, individuals who have received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) through the US Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as an AmeriCorps Member at this time

• Have served no more than 3 terms as an active AmeriCorps member
