(Ex.Horses blood comes out of there noes and same with humans. They get bloody noes.) Why can the lizard shot blood out of it's own eyes.

I think that the basilisk lizard adapted that way because it needed to find a way to get away. I think the texas horned lizard adapted that way because it needed a defense.
