         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Symptoms of depression are&nbsp; hopelessness, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, mood swings, or sadness, agitation, excessive crying and irritability, restlessness or social isolation, early awakening, excess sleepingness, insomnia or restless sleep, excessive hunger, fatigue or loss of appetite, lack of concentration, slowness in activity or thoughts of suicide, weight grain or loss.To be diagnosed with depression is to be experiencing five or more symptoms during the same 2-week period and at least one of the symptoms should be either (1) depressed mood or (2) loss of interest or pleasure. 1)Depressed mood most of the day, nearly every day. 2) Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities most of the day, nearly every day. 3)Significant weight loss when not dieting or weight gain, or decrease or increase in appetite nearly every day. 4)A slowing down of thought and a reduction of physical movement (observable by others, not merely subjective feelings of restlessness or being slowed down). 5)Fatigue or loss of energy nearly every day. 6)Feelings of worthlessness or excessive or inappropriate guilt nearly every day. 7)Diminished ability to think or concentrate, or indecisiveness, nearly every day. 8)Recurrent thoughts of death, recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide. depression can last between 2 weeks to 2 years. Things to look for with people would be Hopeless outlook. Lost interest. Increased fatigue and sleep problems. Anxiety. Irritability in people . Changes in appetite and weight.Uncontrollable emotions.Looking at death. People who could help with depression would be parents and doctors. Clinical psychologist ,psychiatrist, primary care provider. Treatment: would be therapies and medications and there is a medical procedure you could get. Types of depression, Major Depression. Persistent Depressive Disorder. Bipolar Disorder. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Psychotic Depression. Peripartum (Postpartum) Depression. Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). 'Situational' Depression. Some facts are that there is&nbsp; a link between anxiety and depression. Depression Doesn't Always Have a "Good" Reason. Your genes play a role. Magnets might relieve depression.</div>]]></description>

Medications typically used to treat anxiety include antidepressants and sedatives. excessive anxiety and worry most days about many things for at least six months, difficulty controlling your worry, appearance of three of the following six symptoms: restlessness, fatigue, irritability, muscle tension, sleep disturbance, and difficulty concentrating, symptoms significantly interfering with your life, symptoms not being caused by direct psychological effects of medications or medical conditions, symptoms aren’t due to another mental disorder (e.g. anxiety about oncoming panic attacks with panic disorder, anxiety due to a social disorder, etc.) A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. A psychologist and certain other mental health professionals can diagnose anxiety and provide counseling psychotherapy.&nbsp; Some facts about anxiety is Anxiety can be helpful,And debilitating, Anxiety may be partly genetic.There’s a link between anxiety and depression.</div>]]></description>

Anxiety is the most common mental health disorder in the U.S. It causes both physical and psychological symptoms, and it can be very distressing. This can increase the risk of blood clots and heart attack. The effects of depression cause an overall increase in mortality, where those with depression may die 25 years sooner than the average person. This is thought to be due to both the physical and social side effects of depression. Substance use and abuse,Social and family withdrawal,Decreased performance at work or school.
