The most important idea of Bauman, a polish sociologist and philosopher, is what he calls liquid society. He thinks that modern society changes more and more rapidly in the modern world than before in the past.

Infact our social phenomena are not plastic, but heterogeneous and contingent. In other words, things like the property system, constitutions, religious institutions change over the time.

Bauman stressed the uncertainty of the modern society, according to him the people don’t have real and solid values and they can fell lost in their life. The liquid society is one of the causes of the globalization.The modern society, infact, lose the order in favour of the caos. Consequently, the crisis of values and ideology developes and every single person feel alone and uncertain.

Globalization is a wide interconnection.

This is due by the migrations, journeys, travel, internet and so on.

Recent economic migration are caused by wars and economic problems, infact many people who suffer seek an asylum in developing world.

Many states find it very difficult to mobilise internal support for tracking illegal migrants and are in some cases highly dependent economically on their labour.

This fact causes a kind of multiculturalism in many of developing country. Infact, the States had some problems reconciling two different cultures, traditions and ideas.

Moreover, the world seems to be a little bit smaller than before. This is an effect of the increase and developing of radio, television, internet, satellite and digital technologies, and so on.

These things made instantaneous communication between people who live far and a lost of the border of the States. On the other hand now people can be exposed in a enormous world to diverse cultural outputs and values.

Therefore, cultural flows are transforming the politics of national identity and the politics of identity more generally. Infact in each state there were some transformations, such as the growing of the economic power, that the multinationals control.

For this fact, the political power of every single state decreases. Consequently, some political decision like immigrations, terrorism, drugs and pollution have to be taken with the other states of the Europe. WeT!��
