A Dean of College of Pharmacy, Alicia P. Catabay, RPh, MSc, Ph.D., said that we have to hope it will get better soon. And with the grace of the Lord, challenges, and hardships can be overcome. Another Dean from the students' affairs, Jose Antonio Amistad, MD, FPSA, was inspired to hope because of the words this too shall pass (about COVID-19). A Director of Center for Innovative Education and Technology Integration, Marlon Gado, RL, MLIS, was inspired by St. John Baptist de La Salle because St. John believes that education brings hope and opportunity to people. The College of Nursing Student Council president, Marvin Jay Salvador, inspires and believes that soon there will be light, and we will overcome the darkness as long as we have hope. And Hennessy Frani, president of the SHS Student Council, is inspired to strengthen her faith in God, especially in this crisis. 

There are other teachers, students, and personnel, who shared their insights. They may have different words, but all of them have the same thoughts. Because of the crisis right now, they are more inspired to hope and to believe in God. 

De La Salle University Medical Center (part of DLSMHSI) or DLSUMC is the biggest tertiary hospital in the region. It also provides the most advanced services and facilities for health care. Its medical school also provides the most extensive scholarship program for learners of medicine in the Philippines. They provide free tuition and books, food allowance, and housing to qualified students.
