I believe that the media I consume is telling of my personal likes and dislikes. As my Padlet is like a digital bookshelf of what I've been looking at over the past few months, I am able to see my continued interest of Victorian-esque language, novels, and concepts, as well as other subjects I am interested in such as religion which is reflected in my interest to read the Bible.

How might these texts be influencing my thoughts, views, values and/or actions?

As one becomes more knowledgeable, they are better fit for situations. I, myself, only ever learned Blackjack due to a movie I watched long ago. I cannot remember the movie or even the scene really but I still know how to play Blackjack to this day and how to bluff in the particular way the character did in the movie. This can also be applied to other situations. Imagine you have read a romance novel that has a particularly charismatic character at a bar. One might recite the same lines as this character or use them as a reference when interacting with others. Thus, as texts supply me with more knowledge, I am able to act more appropriately in given situations.

How might these texts reflect my thoughts, views, values, and/or experiences?

Texts, and books in general, can show the reader diverse perspectives on topics they might have thought were a black-and-white choice-type situation. I can personally confirm from my own experience that readers tend to be more understanding of others since they are better able to understand other individuals because of the multitude of perspectives they have consumed in media and literature.

What patterns, or gaps, exist in the literature and/or media I consume?

Apart from the few books that share the Victorian and Old English-esque themes, the media I consume seems to be all over the place. From the Bible to a literal killer bear to a man taking the subway and is suddenly thrust into the apocalypse where beings of legend watch over humans for entertainment: it is hard to find a common theme in these texts. I think this reflects the diverse garden of media that I consume outside of school.

What am I going to do about it?

I am going to continue to be "all over the place" with my reading. Sure, when I become interested in a certain topic, I'll jump on it and probably read about it for a couple months until I get bored of it. However, I will continue to read whatever catches my eye as this will welcome more and more diverse and varied perspectives I was not previously aware of.
