Hopefully I will be a certified CNA soon! :) I am hoping to get into the Nursing program for next fall. Over the past year, my Dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and it has been a crazy roller coaster ride. He received an LVAD to keep his heart going until he could receive a transplant, and this past May he received his new heart. :) 
After experiencing all of that, I really would like to work in the cardiology field. I am currently a stay at home mom to a beautiful 7-month old little girl. She is my pride and joy and I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for her. I began college in hopes of becoming a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, but I decided that you only live once and if I was going to school, I was going to go for what I am truly passionate about. I am pursing an Associates of Science Degree in hopes of transferring to NC State to gain my Bachelors of Animal Science Degree and then off to Veterinary School. I had a rocky start to last semester. As it began, I was in labor and delivery waiting for my daughter to arrive. I truly hope this semester goes a little more accordingly. The thing that I hope will keep me on track this semester is that it should be my last at NCC. I have enjoyed every class thus far, and hopefully, when this semester is over and done with, I can walk away with my Degree.
